Is there a non surgical treatment for back pain?

I am a 40 years old female. At the age of 36, I was suffering from severe back pain which was guaranteed to be treated with medication and physical therapy. But, despite the treatments I am still suffering from a lot of pain. Do I have any hope in other non-surgical treatments?

However there are many causes of back pain and it may be worthwhile to see your doctor. Every cause of back pain does not need a spine operation.
