One good way to whiten your teeth is with baking soda and lemon juice. Mix several teaspoons of baking soda and enough lemon juice to make a paste. Wipe your teeth with a paper towel. Using your toothbrush, put a good amount of paste onto your teeth. Leave the paste on for a minute and rinse with water.

Children should get sealants on their permanent molars and premolars as soon as these teeth come in. Adults without decay or fillings in their molars can also benefit from sealants. Sealants can protect the teeth from decay for many years, but they need to be checked for chipping or wear at regular dental check-ups.

You may experience some amount of headache since you are getting more than one of your tooth removed the same day. But these will most probably go away and you will never really have to deal with them ever again. Besides, the doctor will give you something to help you deal with the pain. Try to sleep with more than one pillow under your head so that your mouth remains propped up. Lots of ice cream for four extracted teeth can help you feel a lot better. Avoid having hot soup and other edibles of such high temperatures as they can harm and hurt the part of the mouth from where the teeth have been extracted.

In the days of yore, home remedies like rinsing with white wine, anise seed, and myrrh, mouthwash of sage, cinnamon, juniper seeds, root of cypress, and rosemary leaves were used to get rid of bad breath. In additon to these time-tested remedies, there are many thigs that one can do to treat bad breath.
Sometimes figuring out the cause of bad breath is the step for the treatment. Try to be regular on your dental health regimen. Brush thoroughly at least twice a day, and floss daily. Bacteria left on your tongue can contribute to less-than-fresh breath, clean your tongue.
The food choices too have an impact on our breath. Avoid potent foods such as garlic and onions, among other foods, contain sulfur compounds that move on to the lungs after they are absorbed in the bloodstream.- Like 0

Hi, you can also carry a mouth wash along and use it after eating foods that make your breath smell bad, such as fish products, milk, and meat. Also, avoid having too much coffee at work as it makes your breath to go bad. This has worked for me.

View All Answers (1)A. Thank you for your question, Himanshu. For teeth pain, you can apply a mixture of garlic paste and salt directly on the affected area or you can grind two cloves, mix them in some olive or vegetable oil. You can also chew raw onion to get rid of the pain. Whenever, you are experiencing pain, you can rinse your mouth with salt water but if the pain persists, do consult a dentist for it. When you get braces, your mouth can be sore for a few days. Also, your mouth could be sore when the braces are adjusted. However, with modern braces, you really shouldn't notice them, except when the braces are tightened.
