It is great that you are trying to seek help. A lot of people think that it is too embarrasing to seek help for being upset. It is thought of as a rather chikening out of a problem than dealing with it, in popular culture. What you could do is get professional help from a doctor who could recommend you ways to deal with the kind of thoughts you are having. I do not know why there should be a mention of what religion you belonged to earlier. I am sorry I am not a Christian so don't really understand the relationship. Anyway, know that there are people out there who will never let you be alone and brood over unnecessary thoughts. Seek help is all.

View All Answers (1)A. Unfortunately, depression treatments don't always work and there is a form of depression called treatment-resistant depression, also known as refractory depression. Your child could be suffering from it. But, don't give up already. Work with your doctor to find the right approach towards your son's treatment. You could also get a second opinion and decide what is best for your child.
