    • A. Thank you for your question, Kiran. If you wish to increase your BP, start consuming more salt, have dairy products, seafood and consume more water. These will be only helpful if you have low BP. Still you must also consult a doctor in case none of these remedies work.

    • A. There is nothing like a head of soft, fluffy hair that looks thick and full of volume.Give your scalp a good hot oil massage at least 20 minutes before you shampoo. Use your finger tips and massage your scalp in a back and forth direction.Apply a paste of egg yolk and lemon juice. It will help you give density to your hair.

    • A. Snoring is not just nuisance for a bedmate, but it can also be sign of a medical condition called sleep apnoea.Push tip of the tongue against roof of the mouth and slide the tongue backward. Do the exercise 10 times daily.Suck the tongue upward against the roof of the mouth, and press it against the roof of the mouth. Doing the exercise for 5 minutes every day can stop snoring.

In scientific terms, acidity happens when there is an excessive secretion of acids by the gastric glands of stomach causing heartburns and stomach pain.Various experts suggest chewing of several fresh basil leaves before every meal to prevent stomach indigestion.Mint leaves are also considered as a popular natural remedy for acidity. Mint leaves should be chewed empty stomach early in the morning. This should be continued for a month for complete relief from acidity. Drinking coconut water empty stomach helps in fighting regular acidity. You can also make a mixture using coconut water and fresh peeled cucumber in a food processer. Drinking this mixture after 15-20 minutes of having a meal is considered good for antidote for acidity.

There can be many reasons for this, such as, an outer or inner ear infection, an infection of the skull's mastoid bone which is located behind the outer ear called mastoiditis, and also from infections and disorders of the nerves surrounding the ear, which may have originated from dental conditions, jaw disorder or throat disorders.You can also relieve your ear ache by applying a hot pack to it. This heat which is generated from the hot pack will dilate the blood vessels in your ear, thus reducing the pain. You must be careful to cover the hot pack with a clean cloth before applying it to your ear. Then lie down on your side and apply the pack on your affected ear for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then repeat this process after a three hour wait, do this three times daily.

For example, if you have curly hair, make sure your hair care products are sulfate and silicone-free., both these chemicals make the hair drier. Apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner on damp hair before drying. If your hair has medium or thick volume, apply a bit of styling cream to keep strands smooth. Use a flat brush to go underneath your hair and keep the dryer aimed downward. When the section of hair is almost dry, switch to a round brush so that you have some bend at the ends.

    • A. Hi Sunil,thanks for your query.A sore throat is an inflammation or a swelling of the oropharynx, which is directly behind the tongue. It can cause severe pain and discomfort, making swallowing awkward and sore.Drinking plenty of hot fluids is helpful in eradicating the bad bacteria which are causing the infection, but to really get to grips with relieving the sore throat, you need to gargle a solution of extremely hot water and salt for about 4-5 seconds at a time. Spit it out and do it again when your throat is ready to take some more; drinking some cold water between gargles helps. The hot water and salt will help to kill off the bacteria and slow down their proliferation.Keep your mouth as clean as possible by brushing your teeth and your tongue two or three times a day. Floss between your teeth and rinse it with mouthwash when you can. These steps help to reduce the amount of bacteria influencing the respiratory tract and especially the sore throat, where the bacterial infection is greatest.
