How to treat fever and severe cold?
I am a 45 year old man with slight fever and cough for the last one week. I don't have any body pain though my soles and palms feel warm. The symptoms mostly show up in the evening. The cough is persistent and mostly dry. I don't have any trouble sleeping. What other medicines can I take apart from antibiotics?

Your symptoms indicate you might have an infection of some sort. It could either be a viral or bacterial infection. You can take paracetamol which is an analgesic to relieve your symptoms, but if it doesn't help, get yourself checked by your doctor.

I would recommend you to see your doctor soon. Temperature that rises in evening is said to be a symptom of various infections including tuberculosis. Don't worry without getting screened. It is essential that you consult a general practioner.
