What does "fetal heart beat is present" mean?

I am 3 months pregnant. I received my first scan report and I have a doubt. It says fetal heart beat is present. What does that mean?

This means that the baby is alive and safe inside the womb. Fetal heart beat means the heart beat of the baby. So it means that your baby is safe. Congrats!

Isn't the gynac supposed to explain it to you, I wonder. It just means that you are going through a healthy and safe pregnancy and that your baby is thriving in your womb.
