What are the foods to avoid in hypothyroidism

Do foods/diet have a role to slow the production of thyroid hormones. What are the foods to avoid in hypothyroidism?

    There are certain foods that can worsen hypothyroidism. These include broccoli, Brussels’ sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, mustard greens soy and soybean oil. If your thyroid is underactive, you must limit the aforementioned foods.

    When you have a throid condition, it is very importnat that you have right foods, herbs, supplements, minerals and vitamins. Go easy on foods such as millet, peaches, peanuts, pears, spinach, strawberries and sweet potatoes, consuming no more than 3 servings a week.
